9.5 radius with hand rolled edges
The solid maple neck features a fairly chunky C profile with nicely rolled edges and a smooth worn in nitro, which results in a comfortable vintage feel that plays superbly. The fretboard has a modern 9.5in radius making a lower action possible without some of the choking associated with 7.25in radius boards.
The swamp ash body is lightweight and resonant as you'd expect, and teamed up with the maple neck and the handwound Morsola '54 pickups produces a classic bright 50's Strat tone with plenty of bite and articulation. The wiring features a very useful semi blend control on the bridge pick up which brings in the neck pick up in positions 1 and 2 enabling greater tonal variation than regular 5 way Strat wiring.
Finished in real vintage correct nitro which has been tastefully relic'd, which all adds to the authentic vintage mojo and looks superb.
All in all a fantastic vintage inspired Strat build. Comes with a repro 'poodle' case.
